Lake Tahoe
Philip and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Will (the youngest Houston) and Peyton (his beautiful girl friend) for a weekend in Tahoe. We hiked about 12 miles (RT) to the Summit of Mount Rose. We started on part of the famous Tahoe Rim Trail, and eventually veered right to ascend Rose, an elevation gain of over 2,000 feet.

Sunday October 20th was our 1 year Anniversary. We spent the morning catching up in civilization (i.e. emails and phone calls for Philip and quality time in the laundry mat for me...clean clothes are soooo nice). In the afternoon we drove to South Lake and hiked in the Desolation Wilderness to Granite Lake (with breathtaking views of Emerald Bay).
